IT support

If you have questions or need support in IT, you can turn to IT staff at your department, to LTH Support or to LU Servicedesk. Where you should turn depends on what your support case is about.

Information about IT support and services at LTHin (login required)

Two login options

As a doctoral student, you have two "identities", you are both an employee and a student. Therefore, you have two different login options on several IT services. You have a student account and an employee account.

When you log in as an employee, you use "LUCAT ID" and when you log in as a student, you use "LUCAT IDs". Example; "ab1234cd" and "ab1234cd-s". For older students, the account names may look different.
